Bird Droppings Removal in Newcastle Under Lyme and surrounding areas within Stoke on Trent

Bird droppings are not only horrible to look at, they are also a health hazard and potentially damaging to the surfaces beneath.

We use PX®-Ornikill for bird dropping removal. By treating areas where birds are known to have been present with PX®-Ornikill, before, during and after commencement of work, the risk of disease transfer is much reduced.

Bird waste such as pigeon droppings can cause health hazards, which could lead to catching the following associated diseases.

• Cryptococcosis: A fungal disease associated with bird droppings, which also grows in soils. It is very unlikely that healthy people will become infected even at high levels of exposure
• Histoplasmosis: Caused by a fungus called Histoplasma capsulatum, which grows in pigeon guano. It also grows in soils and can be found throughout the world.
• Psittacosis: An infection caused by Chlamydia psittaci, a type of bacteria found in bird droppings, such as pigeons. When bird waste dries and becomes airborne people may inhale this and get sick.
